| Sussex Antique Power Association, Inc. Sussex, Wisconsin Announcements as of 10-19-2008 We have had a successful Theshing Bee and Engine Show. There are only a few 50th Anniversary showbooks left that will be going to members. Again this was our largest (200 pages) and last book to be printed. Pdf file versions may be available at a future date. Elections were held at our October 11th meeting. Denny Meissner chose not to run again. We thank Denny for all of his many years as a Director with the club. Steve Haasch was elected in his place. Jon Theissen chose to step down as Vice-President and will continue as a Director. Charlie Kosanke has been elected as Vice-President. The finishing touches are done on the 2008 Show DVD. This is a special 50th Anniversary edition that contains both the Saturday and Sunday parades, the evening Spark Show, and a 2nd disc containing the early years of the club filmed in the 1960s and '70s with a 16mm movie camera. This special set is now available for $25 (shipping included). The 2007, 2006, 2005, and 2004 Show DVDs are still available for $20 each (shipping is included in the price). You don't need to own a piece of equipment to join. All you need is the desire, curiosity, or interest in old equipment large or small.
